Bay County Medical Care Facility
Medical and Lifestyle Services
More than Just a Room Number
At Bay County Medical Care Facility, we don’t see your aging parents as a medical condition or a room number. Instead, our staff knows the names of our residents and cares about each person’s interests and needs.
We also try to connect with families. We invite you to our Family Council meetings on the second Wednesday of every month.
As you would expect from a quality skilled nursing facility, we offer medication management and rehabilitative therapy services. Our aides help your loved one with daily living activities such as bathing and dressing. We expertly manage the medical and physical needs that come with chronic health issues such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and dementia.
What might surprise you is that we think it’s important to create a welcoming environment for residents, their families, and our staff. We care about the health and happiness of everyone who comes through our doors. That’s why we continually update a social activities calendar filled with recreational, religious, and cultural events. Generous-sized windows fill our building with natural light. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture and artwork to transform their rooms into homes. (Please ask our staff about specific personal belongings. The comfort and safety of our residents and staff is a priority in the placement of items in resident rooms.)
We participate with Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance plans. A network of skilled specialists provides dentistry, audiology, vision, and podiatry services here. Bay Medical Care Facility directly bills your insurance for eligible services.
