Our on-site therapy services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy, all delivered by a team of experienced professionals in a comfortable, encouraging environment. We also offer the convenience and continuity of on-site dialysis care—the first of its kind in Bay County—ensuring that residents receive the treatments they need without leaving the facility.
Short-term care at BCMCF is more than rehabilitation—it's a pathway to renewed independence, enhanced well-being, and a better quality of life.

Restorative Nursing Care
Residents at Bay County Medical Care Facility benefit from our innovative Restorative Nursing Services, designed to help them maintain and build upon the progress made during Rehabilitation. Our goal is to support residents in preserving their highest level of independence—physically, mentally, and socially. Trained Restorative Nursing Assistants work one-on-one with residents to promote continued improvement and long-term well-being.
Restorative Nursing is provided to all residents, with a dedicated team working across two daily shifts. The program is overseen by a Registered Nurse and supported by three Licensed Practical Nurses and twelve specially trained Restorative Nursing Assistants. Together, they focus on key areas such as range of motion, walking, standing and sitting, weight bearing, stamina, muscle strengthening, and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) training. This coordinated approach ensures each resident receives the personalized care and encouragement they need to thrive.
